INJECTABLE SOLUTIONS
FOR HAIR LOSS

No.1 Post Transplant Procedure

After a hair transplant you can loose up to 30% of the inserted hair follicles. With PRP you increase the retention level from the hair transplant through feeding your hair with the necessary proteins from the plasma

Non-Surgical
Alternative

PRP is an alternative to a hair transplant should the hair follicles still be in tact. This procedure takes 30 minutes and can prove just as effective as a hair transplant in 6-8 sessions.

Rejuvenates
Hair & Skin

PRP can be used for a multitude of different concerns from pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, skin texture to dark circles under the eyes. Facial PRP Injections is great for looking skin

What is PRP?

PRP is an injectables solution proven Hair Loss treatment that regenerates and promotes hair growth for men and women by using your own blood and growth factors to target areas of hair loss. We use this to encourage the growth of thinning hair and transplanted hair.

PRP Injections for hair loss are a non-surgical hair loss therapy that stimulates skin and follicle repair by tapping into your body’s natural healing abilities. Different growth factors are released, which aid in the skin’s and follicles’ natural healing processes. To see the full effects of this, a course of 6-8 treatments is typically recommended.

PRP for hair loss

How does it work?

To begin a small amount of blood is drawn from the patient’s arm. The blood is subsequently separated using a centrifuge machine which spins quickly to separate fluids of various densities and into three unique layers; Platelet-rich plasma, Platelet-poor plasma and Red blood cells. After that, a Hair Loss Clinic practitioner draws up the essential fluid into a syringe and injects it into the scalp. Even after the first treatment, the treatment’s activation of collagen production will rejuvenate and stimulate the hair.

Am I Suitable for PRP?

The Norwood scale is a measurement scale used to classify the extent and the stages of male pattern baldness. It is generally used by practitioners and doctors as a standard to describe hair loss and evaluate the severity of baldness in a patient and to recommend most suitable treatment for optimum results.

Norwood Scale for hair loss

Stage 1 & 2: Sometimes referred to as a juvenile hairline, in this stage there is a very minor recession of the hairline or typically symmetrical areas of recession at the front temporal area, but in general hair loss remains ahead of a line several centimetres in front of the ears. In this instance, a treatment such as LED light therapy or PRP is ideal. PRP London

Stage 3 – 5: Most scalps at this stage have a deep symmetrical recession showing at the temples that are completely bare or just sparsely covered by hair. This is the point of the Norwood hair loss scale where many men begin to seriously consider a treatment to prevent a further hair loss such as LED light therapy, PRP or even a Hair Transplant.

Stages 6 & 7: The only hair that remains at this stage is a strip wrapping from one side to the other on the head in a horseshoe shape. This hair may be less dense than before; however, it can be used as a donor area in case of a hair transplant. PRP London

Frequently Asked Questions
What is PRP?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is concentrated blood plasma which contains approximately three to five times the number of platelets found in normal circulating blood. In addition to the platelets, it contains growth factors and other bioactive proteins that aid in wound healing and hair growth.

What does the PRP treatment do?
PRP is used to halt or reverse miniaturization, the process that causes common baldness.
How does it work?

PRP stimulates the growth of follicles, thereby reversing the hair miniaturization (thinning hair) seen in androgenic alopecia (common baldness).

What are the benefits of the treatment?

Platelet rich plasma offers an additional way to stimulate hair growth, especially in people who cannot use other forms of treatment. For example, it may be useful if someone is not a candidate for a hair transplant, or cannot use finasteride. It is also useful in the treatment of crown thinning where a hair transplant may not be appropriate.

Will my head be sore afterwards?

You may have some very temporary soreness and swelling, but many patients experience nothing.

What Are Possible Side Effects Of PRP?

Sometimes, the patient may experience minimal swelling, bruising, or redness during the first twelve to twenty-four hours. Mild bruising can occur at the needle site, which may be visible for two or three days. There is no risk of infection as the treatment is antimicrobial.

When should I expect to see the results?

Hair regrowth started 2 months after PRP treatment and continued up to 10 months. Results showed that a significant increase in the rate of hair growth was observed between the 3rd and 6th months. Hair density followed a rising trend with a remarkable peak at 3 months.

Do you offer finance?
